Rhenogran® CLD-80

Rhenogran® CLD-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a non-staining sulfur donor for the vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubbers free of carcinogenic N-nitro amines. It exhibits excellent heat aging resistance and increases safety of scorch properties. It provides a wide curing plateau to compounds. It is suitable in products where high temperatures occur during the processing, e.g. salt bath vulcanization and injection molding. It shows favorable compression set properties as well as low permanent elongation values. It is designed for articles resistant to reversion like tire carcasses and treads, with additional thiuram accelerator for nitrile rubber seals, aging-resistant articles based on NR, SBR, NBR and EPDM. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
