Rhenogran® DPTU-80

Rhenogran® DPTU-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is a secondary accelerator for CR, EPDM and other diene rubbers. It aims at a fast cure and a high degree of cross-linking with little sulfur or by sulfur donors. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It causes a very fast vulcanization of CR and acts as an additional accelerator in EPDM. It reduces the blooming tendency of other accelerators. In NR and SBR, it proves to be a strong activating agent and a secondary accelerator, especially when sulfur-less cures, EV or semi-EV systems are used. It is used in all kind of molded and extruded technical rubber articles. Rhenogran® DPTU-80 has a shelf life of 2 years.
