Rhenogran® F-80 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is an accelerator for compounds based on NR, IR, SBR and NBR. It is a combination of a mercapto accelerator with basic accelerators. It offers higher modulus values than di-benzothiazyl di-sulfide, shorter scorch and vulcanization times. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It is used in complicated shaped moldings. Recommended dosage level is 1-2 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
