Uniplex DBS

Uniplex DBS is Di-butyl Sebacate. Acts as a plasticizer. It can also be used as a dispersant for pigments in various plastics. It has excellent compatibility with a range of polymers with superior properties at low temperatures. It has a low viscosity, enabling the manufacture of highly filled pigment batches. It can be used as a replacement for Dibutyl Phthalate in a number of applications. It is used when regulations and recommendations governing food contacting applications need to be met. Compatible with cellulose esters (cellulose acetate butyrate, cellulose acetate propionate, ethyl cellulose), polyvinyl butyral, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polystyrene, and synthetic rubbers (especially nitrile and chloroprene). It has shelf life of 12 months.
