Zinc borate (ZB2335)

Zinc borate. Acts as a flame retardant. It is non-toxic, and has low water solubility, high thermal stability, small particle size, low specific weight, as well as good dispersibility. Can reduce the ash of rubber products (air-duct, belt conveyer) after burning. ZB2335 is the ideal substitute of antimony trioxide. The better fire retarding effect is achieved when it is used together with antimony trioxide. Used for PVC, PVC ebonite foam, phenolic aldehyde, polyester, reinforced polyamide, polyurethane, polystyrene, PP, PE, ABS, epoxy resin, polyvinyl acetate etc. Can also be used in natural rubbers, styrene butadiene rubber, and chloroprene rubber.
