HELI™ RK-561 Opaque MBS Impact Modifier

Opaque MBS ( methacrylate / butadiene / styrene ) impact modifier. It is a binary copolymer synthesized by methyl methacrylate and 1,3-butadiene, which adopts our patent “AMB” process. It shows excellent dispersibility and quality consistency. It has dual benefits combined with higher impact strength and is environmental friendly also. It appears as a white powder with low dust, low plate-out and no odor. It has lower glass transition temperature and higher impact strength compared to RK-56. In the meanwhile, it has more better processability and can improve the smoothness and glossiness of PVC finished products. It is an updated grade of MBS impact modifier for opaque PVC applications. It is used in opaque injection molding and opaque pipe production based on lead formulation.
