HELI™ RK-56P Opaque MBS Impact Modifier

Opaque MBS ( methacrylate / butadiene / styrene ) impact modifier. It is a binary copolymer synthesized by methyl methacrylate and 1,3-butadiene, which adopted the patent of “AMB” process. It shows excellent dispersibility and quality consistency. It has dual benefits of high impact strength as compared with RK-56 and is environmental friendly also. It appears as a white powder with low dust, low plate-out and no odour. It has lower glass transition temperature. In the meanwhile, it has more better processability and can improve the smoothness and glossiness of PVC finished products. It is an updated grade of MBS impact modifier for opaque PVC applications. It is used in opaque credit card based on tin formulation.
