KBM 802 by Shin-Etsu is 3-mercaptopropylmethyldimethoxysilane. Used as a silane coupling agent for polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride, urethane, ABS, phenol, epoxy, urethane, epichlorhydrin, polybutadiene rubber, polysulfide polyisoprene rubber, sulpur-crosslinked EPM, peroxide crosslinked EPDM and SBR. It is designed for nitrile-, neoprene- and urethane rubber.

Improves mechanical strength, moisture and chemical resistance and electrical properties.
KBM 802 is solvent free and is suitable for organic solvent- and water based system and is used in elastomer.
