Hydrated magnesium silicate. Acts as an anti-block, processing aid and nucleating agent. It offers high quality, whiteness and low impurity. Exhibits high heat distortion temperature, ideal rigidity/impact strength balance, rheology control and also reduces shrinkage. A low carbonate content provides durability and acid resistance. The lamellar particle shape affords barrier and crack-bridging properties which ensures corrosion protection. The low heavy metals are also approved for use in contact with foodstuffs.
