VICRON® FRP

Surface treated fine ground limestone (calcium carbonate). It is a low-cost, finely ground limestone manufactured from natural calcite. Exhibits high purity and controlled particle size. Reduces resin demand, and improves flow characteristics. Reduces viscosity of thermoset compounds to improve productivity and quality. Provides better mold-cavity fill at a faster rate, and also provides excellent mechanical properties of finished thermosets. Offers process controls including ore selection, mining, milling, surface treatment and final packaging. Used in reinforcement of plastic in sheet molding compound (SMC), bulk molding compound (BMC) and thermoset polyester applications.
