ST-LS100

ST-LS100 by Starbetter Chemical Materials acts as a processing aid and surface modifier for high temperature processing thermoplastics. It is based on a high molecular weight polysiloxane. Designed for modified engineered plastics, halogen free FR cable and anti-block masterbatch. Exhibits good thermal stability and migration resistance. Improves surface silk-smooth properties, scratch resistance, lubricating & flame retardant properties and makes mold filling easier. It reduces torque of screws, smoke density, as well as consumption and final products’ defect date. Suitable for polyolefin, ABS, POM, TPU, PA, PC, PBT, PPO and PPS. ST-LS100 is recommended at a dosage rate of 0.3-1.0% for improving mold release and flowability, 0.6-2.0% for appearance and surface glossiness of reinforced/ filled products as well as 2.0-5.0% for slipping property and reducing friction factor.
