ST-V84

ST-V84 by Starbetter Chemical Materials acts as an impact modifier for polyamides (down to -40°C) including PA6, PA66, PA12 and PA46. It also functions as a solid surfactant and compatibilizer, and increases interphase adhesion between most polymers with different polarities e.g., PA/PP blends. It is based on maleic anhydride (MAH) grafted EPDM at a grafted rate of 0.4-0.6%. It improves the overall toughness of polymers. Offers polyester & PPS modification and enhanced ductility in blends. ST-V84 is recommended at a dosage rate of 5-20%.
