STRUKTOL® HT 276

STRUKTOL® HT 276 by Struktol is a rubber processing additive. It is a blend of fatty acid zinc soaps of predominantly aliphatic nature. It reduces compound viscosity and enhances flow property, leading to improved processability during extrusion. STRUKTOL® HT 276 reduces the degree of filler-to-filler reagglomeration, known as storage hardening, thereby stabilizing the level of viscosity in silica compounds. It improves physical properties and increased state of cure. It is used in both natural and synthetic rubber, for example SBR, SSBR and BR blends. Recommended to be used in compounds containing high loadings of fillers, especially where more reinforcing carbon black grades or high surface area silicas are involved. The typical dosage level is 2-4 phr. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
