STRUKTOL® TR 016

STRUKTOL® TR 016 by Struktol is a processing aid for plastic compounds. It is a blend of fatty acid metal soap and an amide. It acts as an efficient blending or dispersing agent in highly filled systems, providing a more uniform and homogenous initial mix. It is an effective internal lubricant for the polyolefins, PVC, PS, ABS and many of the TPO systems. Recommended in highly-filled systems include TPEs and TPO compounds, filled olefins, flame retarded polymers and color concentrate materials. It is used where reduced viscosity and improved flow are desirable at processing conditions. STRUKTOL® TR 016 offers easier mold release in many systems, better dispersion of fillers and additives and non-blooming properties. The dosage level is 0.25-1.0%. The shelf life of this product is 2 years.
