STRUKTOL® Zimag 29/43A

STRUKTOL® Zimag 29/43A by Struktol is a crosslinking agent for chloroprene compounds. It is a free-flowing granulate consisting of 29% zinc oxide, 43% magnesium oxide and 28% wetting & dispersing agent. It shows fast crosslinking with increased processing safety. It prevents the oxides form sticking to the rolls or the rotors. It eliminates local over-curing or staining in the vulcanizate. It can be incorporated into chloroprene rubber on the open mill or in the internal mixer at the beginning of the mixing process. It offers improved dispersion. The recommended dosage level is 4-8 phr, depending on the required crosslinking density. The shelf life of STRUKTOL® Zimag 29/43A is 2 years.
