Diisononyl phthalate. It acts as a PVC plasticizer. It significantly reduces the fume emissions during the processing procedure and improves its performance in the final product due to its low volatility with better endurability. It shows low water solubility, low oil solubility and low volatility. It increases the polymer’s flexibility, transparency, durability, longevity and ease of processing. It is a clear, colorless with almost odorless liquid chemical and is soluble in most organic solvents. It is used in building materials, personal care products, children’s toys as well as textiles.
