CEREPLAS™ OTM (Stabilised)

CEREPLAS™ OTM (Stabilised) by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a plasticizer based on trimellitate ester of 2-ethyl hexanol. It is produced by the controlled esterification of various alcohols with trimellitic anhydride. It is a clear and almost odorless liquid that is free from matter in suspension.

CEREPLAS™ OTM (Stabilised) is designed for use in flexible PVC applications that requires low volatility and resistance to high temperatures, particularly in high temperature cables.
Its low migration rates from PVC ensure long service life and CEREPLAS™ OTM (Stabilised) is highly recommended for low “fogging” applications such as automotive internal trim.
It is a stabilized version of CEREPLAS™ OTM.
Stabilizer is added to prevent the oxidative degradation of rubber and plastics that causes a loss of strength and flexibility in these materials.
