VIBATAN® PE Metal Antiox 01801

VIBATAN® PE Metal Antiox 01801 by Viba Group is a dispersion of volatile corrosion inhibitors specific for ferrous metals, free from nitrites, silicones, phosphates and heavy metals in polyolefinic polymer. Acts as an antioxidant. Developed for the production of polyethylene and EVA films (casting and blowing), which inhibits corrosion/oxidation processes of ferrous metals (V.C.I.) through the vapors released by the special additives contained in this masterbatch. Is odorless, and more resistant to extrusion temperatures. Shows low toxicity. Film obtained through it has to wrap metallic parts to be packaged and in case that the direct contact with the metal is not possible, the film must be hermetically sealed. VIBATAN® PE Metal Antiox 01801 releases some non-toxic gases which cover the metallic surface with an insulating layer which prevents oxidation .
