Masterbatch containing a special combination of slip and antistatic additives in a polypropylene homopolymer carrier. Active slip agent contained in this masterbatch, although of slow migration compared to standard slip agents, has the great advantage of not altering the wetting tension or the transparency of the film in time. Migrating to the surface, the additives both improve the slip properties and help to dissipate the static charge by capturing atmospheric moisture and forming a conductive layer on the surface of the film. Intended for general purpose coextruded films which require stable optical properties in time. Added only to the core layer. Once sacks are opened, the contents should be consumed as soon as possible. An effective closing system should be employed for partially used sacks in order to avoid contact with the air. Used for food packaging applications.
