ALBERDINGK® 12-HSA Flakes 81 by Alberdingk Boley is a light color castor oil derivative. It is mainly composed of ricinoleic acid and is characterized by a hydroxyl group and an isolated double bond. It is highly soluble in alcohol and has a viscosity twenty times greater than that of any other fat or oil of vegetable or animal origin. ALBERDINGK® 12-HSA Flakes 81 is used for polyurethanes and synthetic resins, especially alkyds.
