Susterra® Propanediol by Covation Bio PDO is a pure, plant-based, petroleum-free diol. It is a renewably & sustainably sourced, 100% USDA bio-based building block. Suitable for urethanes for microcellular elastomers, thermoplastic polyurethanes, and aqueous polyurethane dispersions.

It exhibits improved heat stability & less corrosion than other propylene- & ethylene- glycol formulations resulting in longer life for high-performance engines and anti-freeze applications.
It improves flexibility and impact resistance.
Susterra® Propanediol is also used in downstream markets including footwear, wheels and casters.
It is non-toxic and food-safe.
It can be incorporated as the glycol portion in manufacturing unsaturated polyester resins which are further used in the construction, marine and automotive industries worldwide for applications that require high-performance polymers with a more sustainable footprint.
