BMI -3000

BMI -3000 by Designer Molecules is an amorphous, low molecular weight, imide-extended bismaleimide oligomer. It is used as a toughener. Exhibits excellent low pH hydrolytic resistance, excellent flexibility and thermal stability. It is soluble in most aromatic and aliphatic solvents such as toluene, xylene, NMP. BMI -3000 can be processed in a resin system as a solid or dissolved in a solvent. Forms very tough, hydrophobic polyimides on curing.
