2-Ethylhexanol Pro 25 by Perstorp is a pro-environment polyol with one primary hydroxyl group. It is a renewable drop-in replacement for fossil-based 2-Ethylhexanol, according to a traceable mass balance concept. It works as a cetane enhancer for diesel fuel, dioctyl phthalate (vinyl applications), acrylates and 2-ethylhexyl nitrate. It is also used in lubrication oil additives, mining chemicals, special plasticizers, herbicides and ester oils (non-vinyl application areas). 2-Ethylhexanol Pro 25 is designed to reduce the carbon footprint throughout the value chain and to support sustainable sourcing of renewable & recycled raw materials. It is REACH compliant and ISCC PLUS certified.
