Euvinyl® C Red 36-8002

Perylene. Is an organic pigment in optimum distribution in a powder mixture with a solvent-soluble copolymer of vinyl chloride. It is mainly used for mass-coloring PVC-u, PVC-p, plastisols and PVC copolymers. It is also well suitable for the production of pigmented plasticizer pastes. In general, it has no influence on the stability of the PVC colored with them. However being a manganese lake, may cause catalytic degradation of PVC if plasticizers based on unsaturated fatty acids are present and no adequate stabilizer is used. Is sufficiently stable to heat and shows good to excellent fastness properties. Used as a colorant for food packaging. Is compliant with EU Directive on packaging and packaging waste, 94/62/EC, EU Directive on end-of-life vehicles, 2000/53/EC, EU Directive on electrical equipment, 2002/95/EC.
