PLASBLAK® PE2824

Carbon black pigment masterbatch with PE as carrier polymer. It is compatible with LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ethylene copolymers. It provides good opacity, comparable to a 40% carbon black masterbatch, high tinting strength and excellent gloss effect. It is designed to provide superior pigmentation in film applications. It is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. Used in carrier bags, consumer packaging, builders and agricultural film. Also used for plastics that come into contact with food. It is also recommended for applications requiring the pigmentation of recycled material as well as for molding, compounding and extrusion applications. The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. Its typical addition rates vary from 1% to 4%.
