TRONOX® CR-470

Tronox® CR-470 by Tronox is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment designed to meet the needs of the most demanding plastics applications. Exhibits comparable brightness (bright white optical properties) and tint tone properties to TRONOX® CR-834 but is end-treated to impart hydrophobic properties. Offers excellent dry flow and processability. This results in outstanding dispersibility and significantly improved high temperature performance. Applications include thin films, high temperature polyethylene extrusion, general purpose polyolefin masterbatch, rigid & flexible vinyl products and ABS compounds & masterbatch. TRONOX® CR-470 meets the requirements of ASTM D476-00 (2005), Type II & III and is listed under NSF standard 14/61. Used as an indirect food additive.
