FERROXIDE® Red 228M

FERROXIDE® Red 228M distributed by DKSH is a dark blue shade precipitated red iron oxide pigment. It is micronized for good rheology at high solids and easy dispersion in a variety of systems. FERROXIDE® Red 228M is designed to use in liquid colorants, plastics, rubber, and other specialty applications. It meets ASTM C979-82 standards for color pigments used in cement.

• It shows resistance to UV radiation, alkali, chemicals and weather.
• It exhibits color-stability below 400°C and does not undergo any chemical change up to 1000°C.
