Dan Bolton Group Leader for Plasticizers Technical Service and Application Development - Eastman Chemical Company

Dr. Dan Bolton is the group leader for plasticizers technical service and application development at Eastman Chemical Company. In 2007, he started at Eastman in the polymer market development and innovation group as an emerging market manager who looked for new opportunities for the company.

From there, Dr. Bolton became the market development manager for the plasticizers group. In that role, he was charged to lead forward-thinking, groundbreaking projects for the plasticizers business. Before starting at Eastman, Dr. Bolton spent several years at Bayer Material Science. There, he had responsibilities in multiple areas, including technical marketing, product development and product management for polycarbonate applications for several market segments, including medical.

Dr. Bolton earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Central Oklahoma and master’s and doctorate degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.
