Birla Carbon Showcased Carbon Black Solutions at DKT 2024Birla Carbon participated in the Deutsche Kautschuk-Gesellschaft, DKT 2024, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from July 1 – 4, 2024.

Versatile Carbon Black Solutions for Diverse Applications

Sharing his thoughts on the participation, John Davidson, chief sales and marketing officer, Birla Carbon, said, “At DKT 2024, Birla Carbon presents its carbon black solutions tailored for the Mechanical Rubber Goods (MRG) industry. By offering optimized solutions, Birla Carbon looks forward to engaging the customer to achieve superior finish and durability in their applications.”

Birla Carbon also displayed Continua™ Sustainable Carbonaceous Material (SCM), offering a sustainable alternative to traditional furnace carbon blacks. Visitors at the booth learned about the product’s significant carbon footprint reduction, its reliable large-scale supply, and the technical support available for seamless integration into customer production lines.

Presented MWCNT for Electrical Conductivity in Polymers

Birla Carbon also presented its Nanocyl brand with cutting-edge Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNT), featuring the NC7000™ solution for exceptional electrical conductivity in polymers, and PLASTICYL™, a highly conductive thermoplastic MWCNT.

Birla Carbon recently achieved ISCC Plus certification for its plants in Italy, the USA, South Korea, India, Brazil, Hungary, and Egypt, demonstrating its strong commitment to sustainability and responsible operations. Additionally, Birla Carbon has become the first multinational carbon black company to obtain IATF certification for all its manufacturing facilities and has earned a ‘Gold’ rating from EcoVadis for its dedication to sustainable business practices.
