PolyOne has launched OnColor™ Naturals, the latest addition to its sustainable solutions portfolio. Fully customizable, OnColor™ Naturals includes a range of colorants made with natural pigments derived from plants, flowers, roots and minerals.
PolyOne's Pigments to Increase Design Possibilities
These bio-derived colors can be used with recycled and bio-derived resins and can also be formulated for use with fully biodegradable and compostable resins. Mineral and botanical pigments can be mixed to adjust color tones. Plant-based pigments enable vivid color and mineral pigments help to achieve calm and earthy tones.
As with conventional colorants, OnColor™ Naturals can be customized, combined with special effects and formulated with ingredients, such as almond shells, natural fibers and wood particles to increase design possibilities and deliver natural aesthetics.
PolyOne’s Sandrine Reboux, senior marketing manager, and Marc Gauthier, business development manager presented OnColor™ Naturals, along with other solutions from the current sustainability portfolio during the Innovation & Technology Theatre sessions at PCD Paris.
