Star-Better Features Impact Modifier at CHINAPLAS 2018

  • Toughening PA66 and PA6 have a very wide range of market demand. The most commonly used impact modifier for PA is POE grafted maleic anhydride
  • Internationally renowned companies such as DuPont, Dow, Mitsui and so on produce POE grafted maleic anhydride
  • In China, there are many manufacturers producing such products as well
  • They all have their own technologies which mostly focusing on grafting control

ST-4182M2


  • StarBetter (Beijing) Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. selected the best tough POE, with a unique pre-dispersion technology to produce highly efficient PA impact modifier ST-4182M2. 
  • It is used to toughen PA66 and PA6 with better dispersion, improve the toughening efficiency, so that the final products have excellent mechanical properties, especially can achieve very good impact strength both under room and low temperature
  • For example, the charp impact strength (notched) at -40℃ of PA6 with 20% ST-4182M2 modified can achieve 46 kJ/m2

Compared with the common products in the market, ST-4182M2 has excellent performance both in reinforced, flame retardant supertough PA66 and PA6 systems.
