POLYBATCH® APS 897 DC by LyondellBasell is a masterbatch containing a permanent antistatic agent to eliminate static charges in crystal and impact polystyrene. It increases the haze, because of its chemical nature when used in crystal polystyrene and is therefore only suitable in opaque systems. POLYBATCH® APS 897 DC includes sheet & profile extrusion as well as blow molding extrusion processing methods.
