POLYBATCH® ASPA 2485

POLYBATCH® ASPA 2485 by LyondellBasell is a masterbatch containing an anti-static agent. It provides slip properties. The haze is minimally affected by its addition while the wetting tension is kept high after corona treatment is kept high. It does not contain undesirable slip additives. POLYBATCH® ASPA 2485 has a low vapor pressure and generates little smoke at the die and in the TDO, resulting in fewer breaks caused by droplets. It is recommended for use with an anti-block masterbatch POLYBATCH® ABPP 05. It is used in the production of CPP/BOPP films. Its recommended dosage rate is 6-8% for 12 micron, 4-6% for 15 micron and 3-4% for 20 micron. It is FDA recognized.
