POLYBATCH® DEG 34

POLYBATCH® DEG 34 by LyondellBasell is a masterbatch containing active ions embedded in LDPE. It degrades polyethylene under the influence of heat and light. It will not degrade before being exposed to UV-light. Once the degradation reaction will be triggered, it continues even in the dark. POLYBATCH® DEG 34 is compatible with EVA, LDPE, LLDPE, MDPE or HDPE. It is used in blown film, cast film and sheet extrusion applications. Its recommended dosage rate is 6% in PE to produce a photochemically and thermally degradable film.
