ADD-VANCE® THC 453 (formerly: ADD-VANCE ® 453)

PP based combi-masterbatch with heat stabilizers and carbon black. It inhibits thermo-oxidative degradation by scavenging radicals and decomposing reactive hydroperoxides. Exhibits an excellent long term heat aging performance to achieve VW and D-C requirements. The minimum long term heat aging is 1200 hours @150°C applying 2-2.6% dosing level on PP, depending on the glass concentration. ADD-VANCE® THC 453 offers good gluing properties, excellent mechanical properties, easy processing and low overall additivation costs. Recommended for producing long fiber reinforced polypropylene for D-LFT process. Can also be used for automotive parts, like underbody panels, shields, structural parts, etc. The recommended concentration range of ADD-VANCE® THC 453 is 2.0 wt% for LFT containing 20-30% glass and 2.6 wt% for LFT containing 40% glass.
