ADD-VANCE® FR 583 (formerly: ADD-FR 583)

LLDPE based flame-retardant and anti-UV (HALS) combi-masterbatch. Can also acts as radical scavenger, hrdroperoxide decomposer and quencher. It does not contain any heavy metal or antimony- trioxide (Sb2O3) and does not produce dioxins during combustion. ADD-VANCE® FR 583 does not offer blocking of spinnerets or fouling of dies and spinning pumps when extrusion temperatures do not exceed 220 - 230°C. It provides longer service life of final product and allows extrusion of thin films as well as spinning of fibers with fine deniers. Used for extruded articles made from PE and PP with a high surface/volume ratio. Can also be used for foils, films, tapes, ropes, and filaments / fibres for carpets, non-wovens, furniture. Recommended dosage level is 9%.
