POLYBOND® 6009 polymer modifier

POLYBOND® 6009 polymer modifier by SI Group is derived from renewable resources. It is used as a coupling agent for applications requiring additives based on green chemistry (renewable fillers & reinforcements). Also used as a compatibilizer for polyethylene grades with thermoplastic starch. POLYBOND® 6009 polymer modifier does not use petroleum-based feedstock and contains renewable content raw materials more than 95%. Biopolymers incorporating this additive benefit from enhanced mechanical and physical properties resulting from the chemical coupling of the polar and non-polar components of the formulation. In addition, it is used as a tie layer in multi-layer extruded applications.
