Afcona -2724

Afcona -2724 by Afcona additives is silicone-based defoamer and air releaser for polyurethane, UV, two-pack epoxies, polyester/melamine stoving systems and PVC-compounds. It offers good transparency and good leveling properties. It is a special additive for thin layer (gel coat) and casting resins (floorings). It is used for room temperature curing of unsaturated polyesters which are used in glass fiber reinforced systems. Afcona -2724 can be diluted in methoxypropylacetate/S.B.P spirit/alkylbenzen/MIBK/DIBK. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5% and under normal conditions is 0.1-0.3% based on total formulation. The shelf life is 5 years.
