EFOX 131 by AKPA Kimya is tert-amylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate di (tert-butylperoxyisopropyl) benzene. It can be used as an initiator for the polymerization and co-polymerization of styrene at 100 °C & 130°C. It is used to increase polymerization rate. It is an efficient peroxide for reduction of residual styrene concentration during the final polymerization stage. The shelf life of the product is 3 months. It is suitable for LDPE. EFOX 131 complies with REACH regulation EC No 1907/2006, regulation EC No 1272/2008 and commission regulation EU No 2015/830.
