Accelerator 40B

Accelerator 40B by Akrochem is a moderate secondary accelerator in combination with thiazoles and sulfenamides in natural- or synthetic rubbers. It is excellent for accelerating the cure of hard rubber due to its quick set-up. It shows slow development that prevents the exothermic reaction that occurs in thick and hard rubber parts. It is used as part of a thiadiazole cure system in CPE. Vulcanizates produced with Accelerator 40B have outstanding mechanical properties and preferred for the products that are subjected to severe dynamic stress. The grade is approved by FDA.
