Accelerator MBTS-MG

Accelerator MBTS-MG by Akrochem is 2,2' di-benzo thiazyl di-sulfide-based organic accelerator. It is a non-staining grade active at temperatures above 280°F. It is activated by aldehyde amines, di-thiocarbamates, alkaline and basic materials like guanidines and thiurams. It requires zinc oxide, fatty acid and sulfur. Accelerator MBTS-MG is a reasonably safe processing accelerator, but increased scorch resistance can be obtained by using Retarder BA, Retarder AK, or Retarder SAFE.
