Accelerator Z.P.D.

Accelerator Z.P.D. by Akrochem is an ultra-accelerator for dry natural rubber. It is easily incorporated into rubber and is a non-discoloring and non-staining grade. It alone may be considered too scorchy as an accelerator for general use. In this grade, processing safety may be increased, with some improvement in physical properties and no loss of curing speed, by the addition of small amounts of MBTS (0.05 - 0.2 phr). Accelerator Z.P.D. is used in the formulation of footwear.
