SP-6601 Resin

SP-6601 Resin (Old Name: Akrochem® P-55) by Akrochem is a tall oil-modified phenol-formaldehyde two-step resin-based tackifier with hexa. It acts as an effective plasticizer during processing and exhibits hardness, stiffness and abrasion resistance after cure. It improves tear- and chip resistance in high durometer parts. It shows compatibility with nitriles and SBR to the extent of 10-15 parts per hundred, which can be greatly increased by using nitrile rubber in the formulation. In SP-6601 Resin, NBR serves as a common solvent or flux and is complies with FDA. Recommended for NR, EPDM and to their blends with SBR.
