Akrochem® Zinc Oxide 35

Akrochem® Zinc Oxide 35 by Akrochem is an effective accelerator for rubber articles based on natural- and synthetic elastomers and latex applications. It also acts as a cross-linking agent for metal oxide curable elastomers like CR and carboxylated lattices. It offers good fatigue resistance and heat dissipation in dynamic stressed articles like rollers and buffers. In rubbers, it exhibits good dispersion, high tensile strength, rebound resilience, easy to incorporate, stiffening effect, anti-flex cracking, abrasion- and tear resistance characteristics. It increases thermal conductivity, compound viscosity, hardness and mechanical properties. Akrochem® Zinc Oxide 35 yields a faster onset of cure with thiurams and di-thiocarbamates. Recommended dosage level in transparent goods is 0.75-1 phr, translucent goods is 1-3 phr, general use is 2-4 phr, improved dimensional stability is 2-4 phr, improved thermal conductivity is 2-4 phr, cross-linking agent is 5 phr and reinforcing fillers is 20-50 phr.
