Akroform® DC-40/EPR/P

Akroform® DC-40/EPR/P by Akrochem is an organic dialkyl peroxide, chemically known as dicumyl peroxide dispersion. It is used as a catalyst for cross-linking agent for polyolefins (PE and EVC), synthetic- and natural elastomers. It exhibits non-blooming, curing temperature and high reactivity at medium processing. It encompasses a good compromise of scorch safety and cure rate due to its half-life. It eliminates irritating dust and other potential hazards in handling powder in plants, when encapsulated with chemical dispersion. It shows better uniformity of the mix at lower processing temperatures. It is a masterbatch and contains ethylene-propylene rubber as a binder. Akroform® DC-40/EPR/P has a shelf life of 12 months.
