Akroform® DC-60/EPR/P

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Akrochem
Akroform® DC-60/EPR/P by Akrochem is organic dialkyl peroxide, chemically known as dicumyl peroxide dispersion. It is used as a catalyst for cross-linking agent for polyolefins (PE and EVC), synthetic- and natural elastomers. It encompasses a good compromise of scorch safety and cure rate due to its half-life. It exhibits non-blooming property, curing temperature and high reactivity at medium processing. Polymer-bound dispersion is a proven means of upgrading plant safety, quality and raw material control. It eliminates irritating dust and other potential hazards in handling powder in plants, when encapsulated with chemical dispersion. It shows better uniformity of the mix at lowering processing temperature. It is a masterbatch and contains ethylene-propylene rubber as a binder. Akroform® DC-60/EPR/P has a shelf life of 12 months.
