Akroform® Retarder PX-75/EPR/P-O

Akroform® Retarder PX-75/EPR/P-O by Akrochem is a dispersion of oil-treated phthalic anhydride in EPR polymeric binder. It is a non-discoloring retarding agent utilize to reduce scorching of rubber compounds at processing temperature. It is most effective with thiazoles like MBTS, MBT, ZMBT or activated thiazole type system. It exhibits little retarding effect at curing temperature and reduces natural rubber. It is easy to handle polymer-bound dispersion providing better uniformity of mix at low temperature, upgrade plant safety and quality. It is listed in FDA CFR 21, Part 177.2600, rubber articles in contact with food. Akroform® Retarder PX-75/EPR/P-O is a masterbatch grade. Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1 phr.
