Antioxidant 12

Antioxidant 12 by Akrochem is a sterically hindered, polymeric, phenol-type non-staining, non-discoloring antioxidant. It also functions as a stabilizer in polymers like neoprene, nitrile, styrene-butadiene, latex, natural- and synthetic polyisoprene. It inhibits the degradation of polymers due to heat and oxygen. It remains extremely stable, active and persistent due to low volatility and extractability. It restrains color development in polymer by reducing scorch and improving thermal-, oxidative- and UV stability. It complies with FDA and does not hydrolyze. Antioxidant 12 is also available in aqueous dispersion form to use in latex and latex foam by name Akrosperse W-9924 AO 12 (50%).
