Antiozonant PD-2

Antiozonant PD-2 by Akrochem is n-(1,3-dimethyl butyl) n'-phenyl-p-phenylene diamine-based antiozonant and antioxidant for NR, SBR, NBR, and PBD. It provides excellent protection against ozone, heat, oxidation, flex-cracking and metal ion (copper/manganese) poisoning. It exhibits a low melt point allowing excellent dispersion properties. It can show an activating effect on sulfur cures, especially in polychloroprene. In this grade, a blend of petroleum wax is used to aid static ozone resistance in rubber surfaces. Recommended dosage of Antiozonant PD-2 is 1-2 phr and in severe dynamic applications is up to 4 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
