SAYTEX® 8010 Flame Retardant by Albemarle acts as a flame retardant. It is a non-diphenyl oxide-based product containing a high level of aromatic bromine. It exhibits good UV resistance and hence is suitable for use in many applications requiring color stability. It offers low blooming characteristics and very good thermal stability making it a prime candidate for high temperature applications. This grade is suitable for use in systems where recycling is anticipated. SAYTEX® 8010 Flame Retardant is used in polyamides, high impact polystyrene polymers, engineering resins, wire & cable and elastomers. Recommended for electronic enclosures, electronic & electrical components, insulation foams and textiles. This flame retardant can be used in the formulation of products meeting European dioxin ordinances.
